Stocking Pattern

Size G hook
Any color thread you'd like

Round 1:  Magic ring, 10sc into ring, sl st in first sc

Round 2:  ch2, 2 DC in each sc around.  Join with sl st in top of ch2

Round3:  ch2, *1SC in first DC, 2 SC in next DC* repeat from *to* join with sl st in ch2

Round 4: ch2, *1DC in each of the next 2 SC, 2DC in next SC* repeat *to* around join with sl st in ch20

Rounds 5-8: ch2, 1 Dc in each DC around, sl st in ch2

Round 9: ch2, 1DC in each DC half way around.  To figure out halfway, fold the circle in half.  Turn

Rounds 10-13: ch2, 1 DC in each DC to end, turn.

At this point you have the toe and the heel.  You need to fold the part you just crocheted in half and sew up the side of it.

After it's sewn up, it should more or less resemble a circle.

Rounds 14-23: ch2, 1DC in each DC around, sl st to top of ch2.

For the cuff:

Round 24:  attach another color if you choose, ch2, 1 DC in each DC around.

Rounds 25-27: ch2, 1DC in each DC around.

Round 28: ch1, 1SC in first DC, *(1DC, ch, 1DC) in next DC, 1 SC in next SC* repeat *to* sl st to ch1.

You can create a loop however you'd like, I chose just using a piece of yarn
